Susie Robson has been a Principal UX Researcher/Manager/Interaction Designer at CA Technologies/Broadcom. She worked in the Mainframe Business Unit, modernizing the mainframe tools and workflows. CA uses the SAFe Agile methodology and utilizes their own tools such as Rally to facilitate the Agile process. UX works within the Agile Iterations but also uses a UX runway for research and new design. Prior to CA Technologies she was a consultant working on a wide variety of products, web sites, and applications for many different industries. Before striking out on her own she was at Mathworks where she was responsible for the usability of internal business systems and web applications. She has over 20 years experience in interface design and usability for both web-based and application-based software, and has established Usability departments at two different companies.

Susie is current treasurer and past secretary of the Boston UXPA chapter, contributor to UXPA Voice, and was co-organizer of both the Boston UXPA Conferences (2001-2019) and World Usability Day Boston (2005-2008). She has an M.M. in Business Management from Cambridge College and has taken Information Design courses at Bentley College, as well as courses from New England School of Art and Design/Suffolk University. She is also Vice President of, and an artist with, the Hyde Park Art Association at the Menino Arts Center.
